Coastal decks take a beating from sun, salt air, pine needles and mildew. Gray, slippery boards are a sign that algae and grime have worked into the grain. We bring decks back to warm, clean wood using medium pressure for bare wood and low-pressure detergent for stained decks.
Using the right pressure matters. Too much pressure raises the grain and gouges the wood. We clean the boards, rails, stairs and spindles. A clean deck is safer to walk on and ready for fresh stain or sealer.
